Photographer Tom Mason writes of this image: "I tended to sit on the front step of Barnhill and have my breakfast and a cup of tea each day. There was no one in the house, nor did I see or speak to anyone from the moment I left Craighouse, it was odd to hear my own voice at the end of my trip, after a week of near total silence."
